A properly installed driveway should last 15 to 20 years, depending on Canadian weather conditions and maintenance.
We lay 3″ of hot asphalt. For residential paving we recommend HL3A (smoother) or HL3 (coarser, stronger). Either grade compacts to just over 2″ after rolling.
This depends on the existing surface condition. Visible cracks, depressions, heaving or foundation issues require full replacement. If the sub-base is in fair condition, resurfacing may be appropriate. Our representative will advise after a free on-site assessment.
We recommend waiting 24–48 hours before walking on it, and 4–5 days before parking. Avoid sharp objects and stationary wheel-turning for the first month, especially in hot weather.
Sealing is a personal aesthetic choice. We do not provide sealing or sealer materials, but recommend sealing after one full year if desired.
Yes. We have pavers as narrow as 5 feet for city laneways and pathways, as well as commercial machines that lay over 16 feet wide.
